For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt as though I was possibly born in an era too late, one where simplicity and profound enjoyment of life was appreciated far more than it is today. I’ve probably held on to those carefree moments of my childhood longer than I should have; with that, I’ve likely held on to the strong ties to my family farm far longer than necessary. But I’m a firm believer that the things that we experience are also the things that build our foundation – the strongest base in which our lives are built upon. I also believe that my appreciation for those life moments make me successful today.

I’m thankful for an upbringing that involved incredible days with my three sisters and also long days caring for our dairy operation; those were the moments in which my soul came alive. Even today, the simplicity and appreciation for the good, amazing things in life can be found in my photography and also the natural appeal of Christine Boake design.

I believe in children, mostly because I have two that stole my heart the moment I saw them. I believe in true love and the power it has to change a world. I know that life presents to us a series of moments, these seconds that live forever in a soul, and that they must be captured.
